Herbal Medicine Support for IVF , in the lead up to the commencement of an IVF cycle Chinese Herbal Medicine may help with the the outcome of invetro fertilisation, combined with Acupuncture circulation to the ovaries and uterus may be increased,the lining of the womb is also seen to increase in thickness due to the increased blood circulation,Acupuncture may also aid in the stimulation of the follicles which is also beneficial in the developement of good strong healthy eggs.Generally Herbs are started 3 months prior to the commencement of an IVF cycle, with a once weekly acupuncture treatment in conjunction, this may result in increased blood circulation , greater stimulation of the ovaries and also may aid in the follicle developement each cycle.At the commencement of the IVF cycle use of the herbs ceases, but Acupuncture continues once weekly right throughout the cycle,and then on the morning of egg collection acupupuncture is performed to help with circulation of blood and to conteract any  anxiety or nervousness.On the day of the transfer Acupuncture is once again performed before the transfer and then the client returns to the clinic as soon after the transfer  as possible preferable with in the first 2 hours after the transfer has taken place.Then 3 days after the transfer another acupuncture treatment is performed, this may aid with implantation and the circulation of blood to nourish the newly imlanted egg, it  may also have a calming effect on the  client to alleviate any stress or anxiety she may be experiencing.

Acupuncture on collection day: On the day of egg collection an Acupuncture treatment is performed, this treatment is done prior to the visit to the IVF clinic, this treatment is useful as it may help to increase blood circulation to the uterus and ovaries, it may also help to stimulate the folicles and to help calm the women of any anxiety and stress, as this can be a very stressful time for any woman acupuncture may be helpful in allay any nervousness and apprehension, especially if this is her first IVF cycle.

Acupuncture on Transfer Day: On the day of egg transfer an acupuncture treatment is performed prior to the womans visit to the IVF clinic, this may benefit the woman greatly, in that it will help to calm and allay any stress or anxiety that she may be feeling, it also may help to increases the the circulation of blood to the uterus and the endometrium of the womb, it may also aid in the implantation process.Once the transfer has been completed successfuly the woman returns to the clinic as soon after the transfer has taken place as is possible, preferably in the first 2 hours after transfer, where another acupuncture session is performed using different acupuncture points to those used prior to the transfer , these new points may help aid in the implantation and nourishing of the egg in the lining of her womb, and may also help in creating a warm and conducive environment for successful implantation in the womb
